In Touch & In Tune:
A 4-Week Infant Massage Series
for Parents & Babies
In Touch & In Tune is a 4-week Infant Massage Course led by Certified Educator of Infant Massage and experienced Postpartum Doula, Alaria Petrulis. This instructor-led class is designed for parents who want to learn gentle, head-to-toe infant massage techniques that they can bring home and weave into their everyday routines for years to come.
Each 75-minute class includes guided instruction, demonstration on a baby doll, time to practice with your baby, and space to connect with other parents in a warm and welcoming space. Class sizes are limited to 4–5 families to keep the experience cozy, intimate, and as calm as possible. That being said, babies will be babies, and we will always follow their lead. Babies are the boss in this class!
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful bonding activity to enjoy with your little one or simply wanting to get out of the house and meet other parents navigating a similar season, this course offers a supportive place to learn and grow together!

FAQs
-
You will always massage your own baby. The instructor will demonstrate massage strokes using a demo baby doll while parents practice with their own baby.
-
That’s completely okay! In this class, we learn about reading and following your baby’s cues. At any point in class, you’re welcome to feed, soothe, snuggle, change, or let your baby sleep as needed.
-
Short answer — just you and baby! Massage oils, mats, handouts, and other class materials will be provided. Having a change of clothes, extra diapers, wipes, and baby’s favorite blanket nearby is always a good idea, just in case!
-
Each week builds on the last, gradually giving you and your baby time to practice at home, get comfortable with the techniques, and return the next week with questions. The 4-session format also allows for flexibility if baby is fussy or asleep, giving you more than one opportunity to practice alongside the instructor.
-
Yes! Both parents are encouraged to participate. Infant massage gives each parent a chance to bond with baby in their own unique way. An extra demo doll will be provided so partners can alternate classes practicing with baby or following along with the doll.

This class is for babies from birth to pre-crawling, with many families finding the “sweet spot” to start around 4–6 weeks. By then, babies are often more aware, less sensitive to everyday touch, and parents are more comfortable getting out and about with their newborns. If your baby was born prematurely or has medical concerns, please check with your baby’s healthcare provider before participating.
